I think it's safe to say that all of us gearheads have at least some sort of automotive-related possession that means a lot to us. What's yours?
Mine would have to be my Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe poster (like the one above) that was signed by Peter Brock, the man who designed the sexiest car ever made. I wouldn't trade it for anything (except maybe a Daytona Coupe, if anyone's will to trade). When I got it signed we talked a little about how amazing the Daytona is and he told me that it only cost Shelby American $2,000 to have the Daytona bodies made by Carrozzeria Gransport (Italian for "Grand Sport Coachbuilders") in Modena, Italy (how much does a carbon fibre tub for a modern LMP car cost these days?). Keep in mind the Daytona Coupes are worth about $8-9 million nowadays. It was such an amazing experience that I'll never forget.
So guys, what's your most prized automotive possession that isn't a car?
