Not much to say.. I let the pictures talk, but I'll do a tiny review at the end of the only beer I've tasted so far today.

SO.. what did I get today? Well.. 4 of this.

Went to Sweden today, bought a few beers.

And a few other bottles of Punk IPA and other "normal" Brew Dog beers. (Yes, I DO drink other stuff than just Brewdog.. but this time I was focusing on getting some of the harder to get stuff from them).

Went to Sweden today, bought a few beers.

Here's what BrewDog says about it.

"This Californian Pale Ale packs a huge hoppy punch. A 21st century low amplitude, high voltage hop hit. Some people say slow is good. We believe fast is better. Being shot from a Hoppy Howitzer beats the hell out of trotting round a submissive paddock. That's why the internal combustion engine got mounted onto two wheels. Screw down the throttle and listen for that dull banshee howl floating back from those malted mufflers. Drink fast, live fast, sleep late and rip it up down empty streets. This pale ale is chopped, tuned and ready to roll. Fuel up and hold tight, this little thoroughbred kicks like a mule. Perfect for drinking by the bottle, case or even keg."

What I think:

Aroma: Strong hops aroma, grapefruit, guava, (some pineapple?) Appearance: Almost clear pale gold. Medium white head. Flavour: Guava, some citrus, and something I can't quite put my finger on.. perhaps bread. medium bitterness, light sweetness. highish hop flavours. Crisp, toasty, Palate: Medium-light body, Soft carbonation. Overall: Strongish hops flavours, but quite well balanced. It's rather bland compared to proper US style IPAs, but what would you expect from something with only 3,8% ABV? Would I recommend it? Well, if you're looking for an easy to drink beer, but still want some taste I'd say yes. I think this will be perfect for those all day-all night barbequeparties. But if you're like me, and prefer a shitload of hops? Nah..
