Classic Stearmans are gorgeous. And by classic I mean pre-Kaydet. The years between Travel Air and Boeing Stearman put out some beautiful big mail planes. We have one at the museum I give tours at, a Model 4D that's jaw dropping gorgeous. They fly pretty well too...
