With the recent bruhaha surrounding the engines of the Porsche 911 GT3
The RS is always the finely tuned, track honed version of the already finely tuned and track honed GT3. That means we get more aero improvements, more weight reduction, more cooling, more power, and more aggressive everything.
But here's something interesting: This GT3 RS, if that is its real name, has inlets for an intercooler which means turbochargers. TURBOCHARGERS. The GT3 RS has always been about revving, not whooshing, but there have been some recent rumors about the RS going the snail route.
Perhaps the question we should be asking here is if this is actually a 911 GT2 leaked in model form. Because if the GT3 RS goes turbocharged, I'm sure my head will explode.
We've asked Porsche what the hell this is.
