I'll admit it, I get hooked on serial television. Lately it's been HBO's Game of Thrones. It's compelling television that leads you on with cliff hangers every week. In this case, though we're not talking about dragons or Iron Thrones, we're talking about automotive iron and Autoblog's Zach Bowman and his Project Ugly Horse.
Autoblog's very own Boy Wonder Ginger Journo started this project 7 months ago. The idea was he'd take his father's once hated 1989 Ford Mustang LX and do something wonderful with it, but without doing much cosmetically. After all, beauty is only skin deep, but performance is ethereal.
Zach has been chronicling his progress and writing about on Autoblog as well as well discussing on Autoblog's podcast. I'm not going to steal his thunder, go on over to Autoblog and get yourself hooked on his tome of independent suspensions, turbo-charged engines, and ugly horses. If only Zach had unlimited time and funds, I'm tired of waiting to see the results!! Where's my finished Ugly Horse?
