It seems to happen every time:

1.) Jalopnik (TTAC and AutoBlog too) post an article about the next generation of a car, accompanied by a photo of the present car.

2.) Numerous people comment on the merits/demerits of the upcoming car based on the photo of the old car.

There's a simple way to deal with this: put a disclaimer at the top of the copy and/or put some text in the photo say "This is not it." That way, we can save a lot of people from much trouble and potential embarrassment.
