Though it's felt like a year it has only been a scant month since Rally Sweden. Finally, though, the wait is over and we're back to rally with the only event of the year on the North American continent. I love Rally Mexico because not only is it a great event on great roads, but it's one of only two events where following the rally doesn't mean waking up at 3 AM.

Rally Mexico is a tough event, on twisty roads that climb and dive through the mountains and with "Latvala" rocks waiting just off line to puncture tires and destroy suspensions. As such it often bites a few drivers hard. Even Loeb has found himself in the rally's crosshairs in the past. Who will the rally gods choose to punish this time?

The biggest challenge in making picks for Mexico is that it has the opposite problem the first two races had. Because Mexico is so far from Europe, where most teams are based, there's a lack of skilled privateers to choose from. Where Monte had 15 WRC cars and Sweden had 17, there are only 12 cars to choose from. Factor in that eight of those cars are on two-car teams, meaning you have to pick one or the other, and options become even more limited. A brave (desperate?) player might go as far as to hit up the WRC2 entry list for their fourth or fifth pick (WRC2 cars are fair game), hoping one will sneak in around seventh or eighth and give them a points boost. This is the time where we may see some creative strategies.

And with that it's time to make your predictions as to who will make it through Rally Mexico unscathed. If you've forgotten the rules or are new to Fantasy WRC (WELCOME!) be sure to read them all here. Below are the WRC competitors entered for Rally Mexico.
