While sailing upwind on the third leg of their Louis Vuitton Cup race against Luna Rossa, a halyard on Emirates Team New Zealand's jib sail broke. Crewmembers worked furiously to pull the sail down before jettisoning it to be picked up by a chase boat. The chase boat, however, darted in front of Luna Rossa's AC72, forcing the Italians to tack to avoid a collision. The International Jury will likely clarify the rules on chase boats to prevent a similar incident from happening again.

Here is the full race, which New Zealand won by 2:20.
