If you're like me, when you first heard about the Tesla Model S, your first thought was "How the hell did they make it a seven-seater?" Well, here's finally a video of how those two back-back seats work.
As you can see, the little seats fold in and out of the floor of the trunk pretty well. In the video below, setting them up and back down again takes a mere 17 seconds.
I have fond memories of riding around in the rear-facing jump seats of my parents' old Volvo station wagon. I think that makes these seats my favorite feature of the Model S, electro-wonder drivetrain and all.
