Do you know what people say about the new 2015 Ford Mustang? "What is that car?" "A DBS!" "An Accord Coupe!" "A bird!" "Pretty sure that's a Lambo, dude." Did car designers run out of ideas and start stealing design cues and lines? Probably. But let's find out, shall we?
It's quite unfortunate that a lot of new cars have familiar design cues and lines that can be found on other cars from different brands. Many people may agree that new cars are starting to lose their originality, but a vast majority of them will still appreciate the looks of new cars.
For me? Well, uh, I'll just leave this infamous comparison here.
In summary, the new C7 Corvette looks like a Dodge Viper SRT, a Nissan GT-R, and a Ferrari 599XX slapped together. The rear looks like Bender. The rear vents by the taillights look like Peter Griffin when he was suffering a stroke. The over-stylised stingray badge looks like a horseshoe crab. Despite many similarities, I still appreciate the new C7 Corvette.
What car looks like many cars were put together?
